Swiss Tony is best known as a local DJ/band frontman and all round celebrity and he decided to find time in his busy schedule to dedicate every Tuesday at The Spotted Cow to his very own brand of light entertainment. Whether you fancy yourself as a master of trivia or an expert on Pop there are plenty of chances for a great prize if you enter the BIG QUIZ, also take a chance with Tony’s ‘disco balls’ in the ROCK 'N' ROLL BINGO. Every week we ask teams to sign up for great fun and prizes.

Plus every week one team is picked at random for a chance to win the BONUS ROLLOVER question with a jackpot which has been known to reach £1000! To play in the QUIZ and BINGO is £2 per person which gives you a place in the quiz and a bingo ticket.

  • Well it's great to get back in the Spotted Cow with their gorgeous Sunday lunch. The pork belly was stunning and the gravy was to die for! Great food, super friendly service and felt very comfortable in these strange times.

  • The Spotted Cow has been one such haunt of mine, and it has been for most of the seven years I’ve lived in Bristol. It’s remained a constant on ever-evolving North Street, seeing neighbouring businesses come and go, and the food and drink offering flourish. It’s actually been there, in the same guise and ownership, for over a decade. Come the summer, the large garden will come into its own, too – locals flock here at the first sign of sun to work on those vitamin D levels. A proper crowd-pleaser.

  • Great for social drinks. Sat indoors on a Saturday evening which was set up well for social distancing. There was a good drinks selection, and food quality. Efficient and friendly staff and service.

  • The menu makes for interesting reading, not least because the Cow have extended their 'local, sustainable, ethical' food-sourcing policy to include 'grown on the premises', with a roof garden providing many of the vegetables and herbs used in the kitchen.

  • Some gastropubs are, truth to tell, wannabe restaurants that feel fairly uncomfortable places to pop in to for a pint. Other places are cheerfully unpromising pubs that provide amazing food.
